INTRODUCTION AND WELCOME

...to my new virtual existence on the data-camino in the cyberspace.

On this site I like to include news concerning the Camino. Some may only seem interesting to you, who have been on a Explore-holiday with me. News about the last gold yield discoveries in Las Medulas if there were any, or a next druid post-graduate course coming up. Remembrance about our culinarian journey; one or other picnic recipy. For those, still interested in cultural affairs related to the camino, to the warlord El Cid, a certain Templar enigma or the Celts, should mind about this blog every now and then. I would like to point out the one or the other book or movie recommendation. (Just as an aside). My main aim is to keep your camino memories awaken, as well as to motivate you to go for more walking experiences of this kind. "...There is no CAMINO, but the path that you make by walking..." It can start out of your doorway, you can chose it, I can help to chose...

Let me also briefly outline my new running projects; the hostel reservation site is coming up soon.

I introduce you to the first official CAMINO-HOSTEL-BOOKING-WEBSITE for the last 100 Km of the french camino (camino francés). It allows everybody who wants to feel a real pilgrimage experience, to make sure one finds his or her bed after each walking stage, specially on this last, sometimes very busy bit of the camino.

On this site I propose the ART OF TRAVELLING in different environments. And of course, different CAMINO-options, focused on daily walking, off the beaten truck, sometimes supported by a bicycle stage or even by a friendly donkey. Adventourous hiking, walking or even trekking trips. Inspired on historical episodes or highlights: Trekking through the High Atlas mountains in Morocco, following the traces of the glaciars in the first place, then the trading routes, last not least stepping in the footprints of the ancient salt caravans. Following the moves of Che Gevara on Cuba or a vulcano loop in Central Mexico (rather a geological highlight)are in working progress.
